DV FEATURE The Perfect Job examines the work and lives of six fascinating New Yorkers who share an extraordinary passion for their jobs—a Tibetan bodybuilder and former bodyguard to the Dalai Lama; a specialist in colon irrigation; a network TV censor; a circus side-show freak/performance artist; a highly-commended NYC bus driver; and a homeless subway philosopher. The film probes these subjects' eccentricities, passions for their work, and the special relationship they have to the resilient city they live and work in. The Perfect Job also records what happens when these unique New Yorkers all cross paths, and allows the audience to connect with them via email to personally explore the complex relationship between a person and their job.
