35MM SHORT The Guests is a psychological drama with overtones of mysticism and dark comedy that examines the powerful climax of suppressed feelings and anxieties in human relationships. The Guests focuses on Peter and Abigail, young newlyweds forced to confront the demons of their marriage on the first night in their new home when it is invaded by three mysterious middle-aged couples, formally dressed and wearing masks, who have been transported to their threshold in a black limousine. A series of twists keeps the guests leaving and returning, escalating the situation into near-madness as Peter's inertia in evicting them and Abigail's hysteria at their presence drives the couple to a confrontation with the guests and with themselves.
